COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY PROTECTION POLICY
Effective Date: 19 November 2025
Last Updated: 19 November 2025
This Copyright and Intellectual Property Protection Policy describes the framework under which Loviero Design Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”) creates, manages, licenses and enforces intellectual property assets within its business activities and through the website lovieroltd.com.
Our company operates in the United Kingdom as a developer of interactive leisure software, IT service solutions, information systems and specialised design activities. We uphold the highest legal and ethical standards in protecting original works, ensuring fair use, and respecting the intellectual property rights of third parties worldwide.
PRINCIPLES AND LEGAL COMPLIANCE
Loviero Design Ltd adheres to all applicable laws and conventions governing intellectual property, including but not limited to:
the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988
the Trade Marks Act 1994
the Design Right Regulations 1989
the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018
the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works
the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) treaties
All materials, creative assets, software code and visual designs produced, published or distributed under the authority of Loviero Design Ltd are protected under these legal frameworks.
OWNERSHIP OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property, whether tangible or digital, produced by or on behalf of Loviero Design Ltd, remains the exclusive property of the Company unless otherwise transferred by written contractual agreement. This includes, but is not limited to:
digital software, applications and tools
source code, architecture, databases and user interfaces
video games and interactive experiences
digital illustrations, branding materials, style systems and UI kits
audiovisual works, animations, soundtracks and scripts
marketing, educational or promotional materials
technical documentation and design blueprints
By default, the Company retains copyright, authorship, moral rights and all associated economic rights over such materials, even when produced for or in collaboration with clients.
CLIENT WORK AND COMMISSIONED PROJECTS
In the context of commissioned or contract-based projects, Loviero Design Ltd distinguishes between ownership and licensing rights.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Company retains ownership of the source materials and grants clients a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual commercial licence to use the final deliverables solely for the purposes defined within the project agreement.
Clients may request full ownership transfer through an Intellectual Property Assignment Agreement, which must be executed separately and accompanied by an additional fee. Source files, raw assets or development repositories (such as Adobe files, Figma systems, raw footage, or Git codebases) remain proprietary unless explicitly included in the contractual scope.
INTERNAL CREATIVE AND SOFTWARE ASSETS
All internal frameworks, toolkits, design systems, plugins, code snippets and AI training datasets developed by Loviero Design Ltd for the purpose of streamlining production processes remain the sole and permanent property of the Company. These assets may be reused across projects, adapted for future use or modified at the Company’s discretion without notice.
THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND LICENSING
Loviero Design Ltd occasionally integrates external libraries, fonts, stock materials or APIs into its deliverables. Such integrations are governed by their respective licence terms and conditions.
The Company ensures that all third-party resources used in its operations are appropriately licensed and documented. Clients are responsible for maintaining any proprietary or subscription-based resources (for example, commercial fonts, SaaS tools, plugins or hosting platforms) that they specifically request or independently procure.
USER-GENERATED CONTENT
Visitors, collaborators or users who submit any form of content through lovieroltd.com, including but not limited to text, imagery, videos, code snippets, or design files, confirm that they either own the submitted content or have obtained permission from the rightful owner.
By submitting such materials, users grant Loviero Design Ltd a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to store, reproduce, adapt, modify or display the content for legitimate business and operational purposes, including demonstration, evaluation or portfolio review.
Loviero Design Ltd accepts no liability for copyright violations contained within user submissions. Responsibility for verifying rights ownership lies entirely with the submitter.
PORTFOLIO RIGHTS AND PUBLICATION
The Company reserves the right to display, reproduce or reference completed client projects within its professional portfolio, social media accounts, trade exhibitions or award submissions, unless otherwise restricted by a mutually signed non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or confidentiality clause.
Portfolio representations are presented ethically and without disclosure of sensitive data or trade secrets. Clients may request in writing that their materials not be used for promotional purposes, and such requests will be honoured.
TRADEMARKS, BRAND ELEMENTS AND NAMING RIGHTS
All trademarks, logos, product names, project titles and branding associated with Loviero Design Ltd or lovieroltd.com are protected under UK trademark law.
No individual or organisation may use the Company’s name, trade dress, symbols or associated imagery in advertising, metadata, SEO or other public communications without prior written authorisation.
Unauthorised use of any of the Company’s brand identifiers constitutes infringement and may result in civil or criminal proceedings.
ENFORCEMENT AND PROTECTION MEASURES
Loviero Design Ltd actively monitors the internet and related marketplaces for instances of unauthorised reproduction, plagiarism, trademark misuse or unlawful redistribution of its intellectual property.
Upon identification of infringement, the Company may undertake any of the following actions:
issuance of a cease-and-desist notice
submission of DMCA takedown requests to hosting providers or digital platforms
legal action in the courts of the United Kingdom or relevant international jurisdictions
cooperation with law enforcement or regulatory bodies to prevent counterfeiting and digital piracy
All enforcement actions are taken proportionally and in compliance with applicable law.
NON-DISCLOSURE AND CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENTS
The Company regularly enters into non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) with clients, contractors and freelancers to ensure the confidentiality of proprietary materials, project data and intellectual property. Such agreements may include permanent or time-limited confidentiality clauses, restrictions on public display and explicit ownership terms.
Loviero Design Ltd strictly adheres to the provisions of all signed NDAs and expects reciprocal respect for confidentiality from counterparties.
EDUCATIONAL AND OPEN-SOURCE INITIATIVES
Where Loviero Design Ltd elects to release certain tools, frameworks or design assets for public educational or open-source use, the applicable licence (such as MIT, GPL or Creative Commons) will be clearly stated.
The absence of such notice implies that all content remains fully proprietary. Open-source releases do not diminish the Company’s general IP rights in any other works or materials.
MODIFICATIONS AND AMENDMENTS TO THIS POLICY
Loviero Design Ltd reserves the right to update or amend this Policy at any time to reflect evolving legal requirements, business practices or technological innovations. Revised versions will be published on lovieroltd.com and will become effective immediately upon publication.
Users and clients are encouraged to review this document periodically to remain informed of their rights and obligations.
